With the publication of first texts in the literature for architecture („Hochparterre“ Nr 4/91), Archithese Nr 1/94, Guide for Swiss Architecture 1920-1955 volume 3/95) the 1932 designed atelier house of Georgette Klein was recognised as an important example of Modern Architecture and one of he first works of Modernism in the Ticino. One of the rare objects of New Architecture that is still in its original state, the 6x6 m2 big house is granted a special position in the history of architecture in the southern part of Switzerland.
